They will maintain Evolution’s current focus on small business growth through its committed private equity fund model: combining strategic capital, proven processes and an extensive expert network. The firm is committed to its investment strategy in the micro-buyout niche, targeting small businesses with at least $500,000 of EBITDA. Evolution will continue to specialize in helping entrepreneurial businesses transform their organizations by providing a foundation for growth through its systematic methodology to create more predictable enterprises optimized for positive changes in revenue trajectory and add-on acquisitions. “We are in the process of expanding our network of dedicated industry experts in order to further accelerate our partner companies’ revenue trajectories,” Kadlic said. “I am looking forward to continuing Evolution’s established tradition of inspiring entrepreneurs and their small businesses to grow and thrive.” ScaleCo will use a permanent capital investment model to develop sustainable growth platform companies. The ScaleCo team will take an active role in each company, freeing existing management to focus on their true unique capabilities. ScaleCo will also offer a collaborative entrepreneurial eco-system where business owners, entrepreneurs, innovators, service providers and investors can network to share ideas and best practices. “I’m eager to develop an intentional community where entrepreneurs and innovators can connect with each other, discover new opportunities and celebrate their work, while ensuring the continued growth and success of Evolution’s Fund II and Fund III businesses,” Anderson said.
