Online marketing, can your business afford to ignore it?

The world of online marketing can be overwhelming to both experienced and novice business owners alike. So on today’s episode of The Second Stage we invited an online expert, the Founder & CEO of Blue Fountain Media, Gabriel Shaoolian, to provide tips as one begins to embrace the power of digital marketing.

During our discussion Gabriel stresses the importance of identifying who your ideal customer is, where can they be found online and then last, but not least, how are you going to reach them. Once these have been identified and an online strategy clearly identified, the immense benefit is that all efforts can be measured and an ROI established.

For small business owners just getting started or looking to amp up their efforts, a suggestion Gabriel provides is installing Google Analytics to your existing website, if you have not done so already. Google Analytics is a very powerful and free tool that not everyone takes advantage of. It can be easily implemented on your website to begin tracking your traffic and provides a baseline of your current traffic trends.
